Mondays (Jan 6, 13, 20, 27; Feb 3, 10) 6-7 pm
The POWER Working Group will be focused on developing full-body power output and will use cluster sets to produce high power outputs for activities while also introducing high training volume. Dynamic resistance, accelerated exercises, and plyometrics exercises will also be incorporated to maximize power outcomes, focusing on optimizing muscle recruitment synchronicity and utilization of the stretch-shortening cycle.
Long Jump and Vertical Jump will be measured pre- and post-training cycle to quantify full-body power changes.
