Kenya Coaching Course Level I

Last Full Day in Kisumu

The days have been long, but the time together has been short. As we say at SoccerPlus, long days, short week. It has been a true blessing to be here for some time, growing as a person myself in the Manyatta Slums and facilitating learning experiences for others. All we can ask for in a day is to learn something new each day; to be better in one way because that day has come to pass.

In the last day, we had the opportunity to slow down a bit and enjoy the Kenyan lifestyle. We walked to the Masai Market and purchased a few last authentic items to spread awareness back home, we enjoyed meals prepared by Sharon, and we coached some sessions and donated the items that you all so graciously provided from back in the USA.

In writing this blog, I want all of you to know that you have made a difference. By investing your kindness and generosity, your support and blessings, your prayers and your time to read this, you have brought about an opportunity for those in the world that have been given less. I will tell you that many have been overjoyed by the experience you have provided in your donations, myself included. Without your support, this program would have been much too expensive for just one person to run. However small your donation, however small your time reading this, the world is changed by your presence. Keep in mind that $1.00 provides lunch for 2 kids in the Manyatta Slums.

Kwaheri!

AMDG,
